Driver’s Corner

car driving in pothole

Winter weather may not be entirely behind us, but in many states the roads have cleared enough to reveal the dangerous potholes created by frigid temperatures. What can you do to prevent damage to your vehicles by potholes?

According to Consumer Reports, you can make it easier to avoid potholes by increasing your following distance, slowing down and paying attention to the road ahead of you. If you do hit a pothole, slow down as much as possible before you hit the pothole, rather than slamming on your breaks as you hit the pothole. Read more about this, and other tips for handling potholes on the roads here.

And Finally

Have a great weekend and safe travels.
