NORTHBROOK, IL —Donlen, America’s fastest growing fleet management company, recently announced that Tom Callahan has been named President and Chief Operating Officer effective September 1, 2008. Callahan previously served as the company’s Executive Vice President, overseeing a majority of Donlen’s operational departments. Callahan will continue to maintain his existing responsibilities while increasing coordination for Donlen’s Sales, Fleet Management Services, and Finance & Accounting departments.

Gary Rappeport, Donlen’s Chief Executive Officer, stated, “Tom has proven himself as a successful leader and agent of change throughout his tenure at Donlen. He has openly taken on new responsibilities and challenges while leading many departments to new levels of success.” Rappeport continued, “Tom’s increased involvement in these areas will allow me to continue to focus on Donlen’s strategic alignment, new product development, green initiatives, and ensuring that we have the appropriate resources and culture to achieve our corporate goals.”

Callahan joined the company in March 2006 as a Senior Vice President overseeing Customer Service, Purchasing, Remarketing, Human Resources, IT, Quality, and international operations in Canada and Mexico.

Previously, Callahan spent most of his career with GE Commercial Finance, Fleet Services. He also lends invaluable global perspective, having served in various leadership roles with GE in Japan, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Prior to GE, he worked for Ford Motor Company in various sales and operational roles.

Callahan earned a B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and a Master’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
