Driver’s Corner

We’ve all heard that you should keep a blanket in your car during the winter in case of emergencies, but what else should go into a winter driving emergency kit? The Washington State Department of Transportation has provided a handy infographic and checklist that outline everything you need.

Among the items listed, you will find a flashlight, cellphone charger, boots and gloves, and kitty litter or sand to help with traction. Don’t forget that one of the most important things to have in your car during the winter is a full tank of gas. Stay warm and drive safely!

And Finally
