Donlen Honors Veterans with Luncheon and Raffle Fundraiser Event

On Veteran’s Day, Donlen hosted a luncheon recognition event to honor all who have served our country. The event featured lunch, raffles, t-shirts from Take Two Fitness Apparel, and a presentation by Larry Kaifesh, U.S. Marine Colonel. He spoke about his experience in the service to the crowd who gathered for our Veteran’s Day event. All proceeds from Donlen’s event went to Paws and Stripes, a non-profit that rescues shelter dogs to train as service dogs for disabled veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury. Thank you to all veterans for your service!


GM Announces Layoffs, No Anticipated Impact for Fleet Units

gm-logoEarlier this month, General Motors announced that it will be laying off 2,000 employees at their Lordstown, Ohio and Lansing, Michigan locations when it cuts the third shift at both plants in January 2017. According to GM, their priority for fleet units remains in place and they do not expect the shift reduction to impact production of commercial or government units.
